Canadian Mineral Properties
Blackfire has 12 mineral properties in Canada, representing the top properties from the Willis Group portfolio. All of these claims are located in very hot mineral areas and have structural control and geological support.
Blackfire has acquired all of Arthur Louie’s high-grade lead/zinc/silver properties throughout the East Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Louie was a well-respected prospector who was extremely familiar with the region. In addition to these properties we’ve also acquired a high-grade magnesite property. The Willis Group has been aggressively exploring the East Kootenays for the past 25 years and has built a portfolio of high impact mineral properties over this time.
Baltic
The Baltic has a potential for zinc production. Mr. Louie held the claims for many years and drilled a shallow hole and intersected 5 m. of high-grade sulphides. There is also massive black barite with 2-10% zinc on the property. Mr. Louie ran a magnetometer over the zone and encountered large magnetic lows (160 – 220 m. wide), which is an indication that the barite/zinc zone is continuous. We have numerous samples and there are outcrops exposing the high-grade sulphide breccia zone as well as the barite zinc zone. There is a lot of data on the property along with geochem, magnetometer and geological mapping. This property will be high on our agenda for future development.
Falcon
This property has geochem sampling and rock samples. There is high-grade barite above, and massive sulphides (lead/zinc/copper/silver) outcropping along the lower fault trend. The geology has been mapped and the property has had some minor core drilling done. The Willis Group ran a geophysical survey and has done diamond drilling for barite. There are numerous sulphides outcrops and more mapping needs to be done. The large gravity anomaly has never been drilled and it is a priority on this property. The property has promising lead/zinc/silver potential. With gravity support, fault control and mapping, we can set up a drill program to outline the gravity high and drill the large breccias.
Sundog, King, Purcell, Black Diamond
These mineral claims are located along a zinc, lead, silver, copper and cadmium trend up strike from the Mineral King Mine. The Mineral King mine produced over 2,313,000 tons of ore with an average grade of 4.12% zinc and 1.77% lead. The by-products were barite, silver, copper and cadmium. The claims follow the fault line and are on trend with this mine. There has been geological work done on all of the claims and they are drill ready. There are six zones on the Black Diamond claims grading 2.44% - 5.01% of combined lead/zinc. The mineralized breccia zones contain massive and disseminated galena, sphalerite, pyrite, with minor malachite and azurite. The zones are 1 – 2 m. thick and are open horizontally and laterally. Grab samples along the trend are as high as 12.7% lead and 10.25% zinc. Results of geological mapping have proven economic grades over a 500 m. strike length. All of these properties contain high-grade outcrops and more zones remain to be uncovered. There is an excellent potential to discover a new mine. We have over 25 geological reports on the area with detailed information on the properties. Some drilling was completed with no geological guidance. Mapping and geological work was done after drilling. Mr. Louie held these claims in very high regard and maintained them for 25 years.
Shamrock
The Shamrock claims are on strike with the Paradise Mine. This mine was a profitable silver/lead/zinc mine. The Shamrock has numerous adits, trenches, and outcrops with high-grade sulphides. Magnetometer work has been done over some of the high-grade zones with good results.
Shamrock High-grade samples:

Starbird
There are a number of gossans zones and old workings on this property, as well as high-grade lead/zinc outcrops with breccia zones. The Starbird has good potential along the mineral trend.
Whisky Jack
This claim has lead, zinc, silver outcrops (6 - 8% lead, 12.45 - 20.25% zinc, and 50 oz/tonne silver). Geochem soil sampling has been done in one area and more is required. Geological mapping and geophysical work should also be implemented to take the property to drill ready status. High-grade outcrops are exposed and there are more to be uncovered.
Other
We have a magnesite bedded ore body that is on the opposite side of a syncline where a proven magnesite ore body exists. We have samples, assays and reports with a reserve potential of 3,000,000 mt. We also own a quartz gold vein prospect, which has two parallel 5 m. wide veins.
The Canadian properties require drilling to confirm reserves.
